Alice Munguiko

Alice Munguiko is currently in her third year of primary school at Murubya Primary School in Hoima, Uganda.  Educate!’s youngest student, Alice excels in her classes placing in the top 5 in her school.

Like many of the Educate! students, Alice Munguiko is a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo currently living in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Uganda.  When Jean Paul Amani, another Educate! student, was fleeing from the Congo in 1997 he found Alice alone in a field.  He picked her up, carried her across the border to safety, and has since acted as her father.

Alice shows a great deal of potential and it will be exciting to follow her progress as she grows into a future leader with Educate!’s support!
