Viona Nakade

Viona Nakade is using her natural artistic talents, passed down by her mother, to fight unemployment among the youth in her community. She has helped many of her peers uncover their hidden artistic abilities and has also provided training in craft production. Her team has nearly tripled in size since the project’s conception and they are now producing sweaters, scarves, jewelry, paintings and drawings. When asked about her ultimate career goals, Viona admits she is still debating whether to study law or to become a surgeon.
