We are an African Charity Using Education to Empower Africa’s Future Leaders

See how we do it:

Educate! started in 2002 by giving promising and needy refugees in Uganda scholarships to receive an education as well as support and mentorship. Educate!’s scholarship students have used their education to build an orphanage, sponsor 30 students from their refugee camp to attend school, and blanket their refugee camp with 4,000 malaria nets.

In February, we are launching a program called the Educate! Experience to scale our impact by putting 375 high potential students around Uganda through a two year course on socially responsible leadership and entrepreneurship.  Our course supplements the education we feel Africa’s future leaders need to reach their potential.

The course will be complemented by a social entrepreneurship club that will allow students to start projects to sustainably help their communities.
