Teachers are turnkey players in the curriculum reform, which is why we’ve invested in building their capacity through continual professional development.
Exchange Visits give teachers the opportunity to visit each other’s schools to see the innovative ways their peers are putting the new curriculum into practice. These visits accelerate the uptake of competency-based pedagogical practices through accountability and learning, while also providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
Youth Leaders are the on-the-ground support for school administration, teachers, and students as they help ensure that the national skills-based curriculum is successfully adopted. Youth Leaders help monitor program delivery and quality, provide Scholar mentoring and skills training, and support teacher Exchange Visits.
