Educate! Internships

Educate! internships provide an opportunity for motivated individuals
to work closely with Educate! students and partners in Uganda and in
the U.S.

With the guidance of our Directors, interns take an active role in the
implementation and development of Educate!’s programs and in
Educate!’s fundraising efforts.

Internships are available in Uganda and in the U.S. (Colorado.)

Intern Testimonials

“Unforgettable” is the best way to describe my experience interning
with Educate! this summer. Whether it was presenting Educate!’s new
leadership programs to partner schools around Kampala; spending time
in Kyangwali refugee camp with some of the original Educate! students;
or navigating the public transportation system of Kampala, each day in
Uganda held a new and exciting adventure. I am inspired by all of the
incredible work of Educate!’s volunteers and its dedicated students
and partners. I am confident that Educate! is a few steps closer to
achieving its vision of sustainable development through education in
socially responsible leadership in Uganda.

Interning with Educate! has literally been the best experience of my
life. As an intern, I was constantly challenged and given tasks that
were crucial to the organization’s growth. I was encouraged to throw
myself into new situations and take on significant responsibilities; I
never felt like I was sitting on the sidelines. The people I’ve met
through my work with the organization – the other interns and
volunteers, sponsored students, and administrators and teachers at
partner schools – are truly incredible and have greatly impacted the
way I view the world. I am constantly in awe of the amazing work of
the organization and its partners in Uganda, and I will always value
the chance I was given to take part in Educate!’s development.
