Soranje Chimpaye

Chimpaye is a refugee from Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, currently living in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement. One of Educate!’s three students in primary (or elementary) school, she hopes to become a doctor in the future and has a confidence that is uncommon among young women of her age.

Chimpaye is already involved in her community through a organization started and run by Educate! students in Kyangwali called COBURWAS that aims to unite the people of Kyangwali from Congo, Burundi, Uganda, Rwanda, and Sudan.
