The Educate! Experience equips high school students across Uganda to create social enterprises - financially sustainable, innovative, and effective initiatives that address the greatest challenges faced by communities.  Educate! Scholars go through a two-year leadership curriculum, receive weekly mentoring, and a life-long alumni network to assist them in the process of creating a social enterprise and ultimately becoming socially responsible leaders.

In the Experience, Educate! Mentors guide students, called Educate! Scholars, through a trendsetting two-year leadership and social entrepreneurship curriculum geared at empowering students to create a social enterprise in their communities.Educate! Scholars

The Experience equips highly motivated students with the ability to realize their potential to contribute to society and create systemic solutions to the challenges facing their community and country.

The Mentors are recent graduates of universities in Uganda who lead Scholars through the Educate! Experience. Mentors are rigorously selected using an innovative three-phase process.

Educate!’s Mentors

Prior to leading Scholars through the Experience, Mentors complete the Induction, a three-month, full-time focused preparation.

Upon completing the Induction, Mentors are placed at 4 of Educate!’s thoroughly vetted partner schools where they lead 15 selected Scholars per school through the Experience.

After completing the Experience, both Mentors and Scholars join a strong alumni network to help further their careers as socially responsible leaders and create long-term impact on their communities and country.
