Wani “Tokyo” Lumago

 Wani Lumago is a refugee from Sudan. He is pictured above with Emmy and Andrew Smith, Educate! interns, outside his home in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Uganda. 

He received an Educate! scholarship in 2006 and is currently in his fourth year of secondary school in Hoima, Uganda. His excellent performance in math and science earned him the nickname “Tokyo” among his friends.
