Educate!'s 3rd Annual Hike for Africa
Last Saturday Educate! had its 3rd Annual Hike for Africa! While new and old supporters of Educate! gathered in Boulder, CO to hike the Green Mountain Trail, Educate!’s scholars were trekking their trail in Uganda! The Hike was a great way for Educate! to reach out to the community and share how Educate! is changing the future for many individuals and communities in Uganda.
Vic’s Coffee helped participants wake up for the early morning hike while we all enjoyed live music from Lost Angel Station while learning about Educate!’s scholars and how Educate! was started. We had many raffle winners that received gift cards to local restaurants, PetSmart gift package, hiking boots and a painting that was created by one of Educate!’s interns!
The hike could not have been possible without the help from all of our sponsors and volunteers. A big thanks to Vic’s Coffee, Honest Tea, Eldorado Spring Water and Lost Angel Station! Special thanks to everyone that came out and participated in the hike, we hope to see you all at Educate!’s Ball!
