Educate! is proud to announce a catalytic new partnership with the IKEA Foundation to support our work in Kenya.

According to the IKEA Foundation, “Education is one of the best ways to break the cycle of poverty, and all young people have the right to an education that prepares them to thrive in life.” Around 80% of Kenya’s unemployed people are under the age of 35, a fact that can be attributed to young people lacking the relevant skills.

Educate! is working in partnership with the government of Kenya to transform secondary education to equip youth with the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century. By helping young people learn entrepreneurial and workforce skills, Educate! aims to prepare Kenyan youth to eventually create their own businesses, get jobs, and improve their incomes.

We are proud that this landmark partnership with the IKEA Foundation will enable us to reach more youth than ever before. Stay tuned for more information coming soon about our Kenya launch and our partnership with the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development.
