Remembering Educate! Board Chair Rik Kranenburg

It is with deep sorrow and sincere regret that we share news of the unexpected passing of Educate!'s beloved Board Chair, Rik Kranenburg. 

While the Educate! family grieves the immense loss of our trusted advisor and committed champion, we also feel profound gratitude for the years we benefited from Rik's leadership and support. Rik was an exceptional leader who will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him for the genuine warmth and care he brought to every interaction. 

It is difficult to overstate the impact Rik made on our team and organization. Rik's energy, insight, and leadership during critical periods of growth enabled Educate! to aim higher and reach further, ultimately impacting tens of thousands of youth in Africa. Rik loved Educate!, and it is a comfort to know that his work on our behalf brought joy to his life. 

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn a great man who cared deeply about the Educate! family and our shared purpose. We extend our sincere condolences to Rik's family and many friends, and know he will be deeply missed.
