One of the most consistent themes we’ve seen over time is how deeply people want to grow, show up well, and do their best work at Educate!.
The Guide to Thriving & Performing at Educate! was created to bring clarity to what thriving here truly looks like. What’s expected, encouraged, and celebrated - but not always said out loud.
This guide aims to catch all the unstated, the subtle, and the small-but-important norms that help each of us succeed. It’s our attempt to make sure no expectation is left unsaid - so every team member has full clarity on what it means to thrive here.
It was created from the voices of Educate! team members across Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and our global offices —long-timers and new joiners alike.
Right now, we have a few key tools to help us move forward as an aligned team:
Our Cultural Tenets, as outlined in our Culture Deck. Always start here. This outlines how we behave and is central to how we succeed at Educate!. This is our anchor and the most important place to reference.
The Strategic Development Principles, which speak to how we go about building and delivering highly impactful products for youth.
The Ethics Guide, which provides a framework for taking actions considered right and ethical at Educate!.
