Nelson works alongside government education authorities and partners to strengthen collaboration and alignment. Based in Tanzania, he convenes stakeholders, builds trusted relationships with public-sector leaders, and supports government-led efforts to improve competency-based education and teacher quality, helping translate national priorities into practical action within education systems.
Nelson holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and is a certified Project Management for Development (PMD Pro) practitioner, with more than 10 years of experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives across education, youth employment, agriculture, and climate, in partnership with government and donor organizations.
Nelson was drawn to Educate! by its focus on creating meaningful opportunities for young people. He is motivated by strengthening systems and ensuring that ideas move beyond planning to deliver lasting, real-world benefits for communities.
